Fabrigram is a user-friendly digital fabric library developed by industry experts with extensive experience in woven fabric manufacturing. It aims to streamline the fabric development process through digitization, enhancing collaboration between suppliers and apparel brands.

Created by ALC, a leading woven fabric producer in India with collaborations worldwide, Fabrigram represents a significant advancement in the digitization efforts within the textile industry. It facilitates faster decision-making and more efficient fabric exploration for apparel manufacturers.

The platform allows users to generate new woven textile plaid designs in approximately 20 seconds, eliminating the need for specialized CAD software knowledge. This feature offers a practical solution for rapid prototyping and design visualization.

Every fabric in the library is accompanied by comprehensive technical specifications, including fabric type, weave, weight, finish, stock availability, and additional relevant details—presented from a brand’s perspective to support informed selection.

With professionally captured images taken by in-house DSLR photographers, each fabric entry includes high-quality visuals. Additional wash mock-up images for indigo and sulphur dyes help users visualize potential finishes and effects prior to production.

The platform features regular updates through weekly and monthly stories highlighting innovative product developments, seasonal collections, and emerging fashion trends—providing valuable industry insights.

Users can create personalized collections of preferred fabrics, which can be shared with team members or mills. This functionality streamlines communication and allows mills to prepare physical hangers aligned with digital selections.

Fabrigram integrates the PANTONE® color palette, enabling users to develop their own color themes and explore a vast spectrum of textile-specific shades—enhancing color accuracy during design development.

With a simple swipe, users can apply their chosen color palette to any fabric article in the library. The platform automatically generates all possible CAD permutations with these color combinations, allowing quick visualization of different colorways. Selected options can be added to collections and communicated directly with mills for sample creation or production approval.

The system also offers 3D shirt rendering capabilities. By applying selected color palettes to fabric options, users can instantly generate realistic 3D visualizations for design validation.

Fabric samples can be quickly accessed by scanning QR codes attached to physical hangers, linking tangible products directly to digital assets and enabling seamless testing and selection processes.

Fabrigram’s advanced search function enables users to refine their queries using technical textile terms, facilitating targeted searches to find exactly the right fabrics based on specific criteria.
